You will receive an email on Friday of this week to inform you about your child’s teacher for 2019.
Please be aware that teachers consult widely about the best possible learning environment for all children at SHP. Consideration is given for mixed ability groupings while being aware of gender and each child’s work habits and routines. It will be beneficial for your child if they hear that you’re supporting the decision made by the school. Managing disappointments helps their resilience. Please do not hesitate to make an appointment to see me if you feel we have overlooked an important issue which affects your child.
Sincere thanks and best wishes to Miss Isobel O’Neill and Mrs Lisa Lynas who will be moving to permanent roles in other schools next year. They have been a wonderful asset to our staff at SHP.
Mrs Kimberley Tyson will be taking one year of leave to pursue further studies.
