School Community

Introduction

The Sacred Heart community is very inclusive and aims to foster positive relationships between staff, students, parents, the parish and wider community.

Sacred Heart has a most vibrant and progressive P&F Association

Through various smaller committees, the P&F assists in undertakings such as: consultative input in school policies, fundraising for classroom resources and other facilities, working bees and family masses. The P&F also provide a contact point for the Diocese of Broken Bay’s parent forum through connection with the Diocesan Parent Council.

  • The Parish community provides additional opportunities for families to grow together in their faith.
  • They host the Family Groups program that gives a diverse group of families, both inside and outside the school, the opportunity to share time, experiences and issues.
  • Individuals can also grow and share their faith with school children in the Parish community by becoming a Catechist and helping with providing the Liturgy sessions at Sunday masses.

Parental involvement in the school and Parish communities is both valued and rewarding.
