About Pymble Catholic Parish
Pymble Catholic Parish of Sacred Heart is a vibrant Catholic faith community serving the people of Pymble on Sydney’s North Shore. Established in 1888, our parish is built on a tradition of faith, dedication and community, providing spiritual and pastoral care under the guidance of the Salvatorians (Society of the Divine Saviour).
The parish offers a rich program of worship and community life, including Sunday and weekday Masses, and the celebration of the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Confirmation, Marriage, Anointing of the Sick, and funerals. Our parish also supports education in public schools, youth groups, children’s liturgy, Bible study groups, and personal faith development activities.
Today, as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the dedication of the Sacred Heart Church and parish centre, united with the parish school on this magnificent site, we prayerfully acknowledge the dedication, resilience, and sacrifices of the priests, religious, and lay people who built the foundation of our parish community.
A Catholic parish is more than just a place of worship — it is a spiritual home where the faithful gather to celebrate the Eucharist, receive the sacraments, grow in faith, and support one another in living out the mission of Christ.
