You may or may not be aware, but there is a shortage of volunteers instructing Catholic children in public schools within our area. Public schools in NSW offer Special Religious Education each week which is volunteer driven.
If you are willing to volunteer your time once a week for about 30 minutes to facilitate a class, that would be great! No previous experience necessary! Training is provided (predominantly on-line), as well as all of the class materials and on-going support. A “Working With Children Check” for volunteers is also required (free of charge).
There is a need for volunteers at public schools in West Pymble, Pymble, Gordon East, Gordon West and Turramurra.
You do not need a PhD in theology! All you need is enthusiasm and a “can-do” attitude.
